Week two is officially underway at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games! Here’s a fresh roundup of Hospitality House news.
Ecuador: Casa Ecuador
Ecuador has opened the doors of its Hospitality House at Paris 2024, known as “The Embassy of Nature” at 44 Rue des Francs Bourgeois, 75004 Paris. Casa Ecuador will be open from July 28 through August 4.
As noted in the Fundación Identidad Nacional press release:
“This venue will provide an immersive experience featuring artistic representations of Ecuador’s Parque Nacional Yasuní, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Visitors will enjoy virtual and augmented reality experiences, allowing them to explore Ecuador’s natural treasures and cultural history.”
There is no official website, but fans and visitors can find additional details on the Casa Ecuador Instagram account.
Italy: Casa Italia
Casa Italia has launched a standalone website for its Hospitality House at Paris 2024.
Fans can get a more in-depth look at the Italian venue and experience by visiting the photo gallery and 3D explore features on the website.
As of now, the House Party Blog is still under the impression that Casa Italia is closed to the public at Paris 2024.
Jamaica: Jamaica House
The Jamaican Tourist Board has announced the opening of Jamaica House at Paris 2024. Jamaica House will be located at Espace de la Cockerie in Saint-Denis and is open from August 3 to August 8 from 12pm to 10pm and again on August 11 from 8pm to 11pm.

“Jamaica House is a vibrant space celebrating the spirit and culture of Jamaica. Jamaica House will be the go-to spot for fans, athletes, and visitors to experience the best of Jamaican hospitality, music, food, and more.”
To visit Jamaica House, it is recommended that visitors register as organizers expect demand to be high, although admission is free.
Jamaican fans should note: on August 9, Jamaica House will be hosting a Reggae Night Concert with with Julian Marley, Skip Marley, Luciano & David Cairol at Club 24 Nanterre.
Japan: Team Japan House
The Japanese Olympic Committee has opened the doors to Team Japan House in Paris, at la Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris. From the Japan Foundation press release:
“Team Japan House will accommodate the office of the Japanese Olympic Committee where the press conferences of Team Japan including the medal-winning athletes will be held, and hospitality services will be provided for the partners and related parties.”
Thanks to a House Party Blog reader, we've learned that Team Japan House is welcoming the public, after registering at the door.
Kenya: Kenya House
Exciting news! Kenya House has opened its doors at Galerie Joseph Le Palais, an art gallery in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. Fans can expect to experience the richness of Kenya culture, food, dance, art and sport when visiting and admission is free.
From the official site: “Kenya House 2024 is the continent’s first virtual and immersive platform showcasing Kenya’s champion experiences and opportunities.”
It is expected that Kenya House will be open for the entirety of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Fans should check the Kenya House Instagram or Facebook pages for daily opening hours.
Romania: Casa României
A joint project between the Romanian Olympic Committee (COSR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Casa României has opened at Béhague Palace, the Romanian Embassy in Paris. It is believed that Casa României will be open for the duration of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Celebrating 100 years since Romania won its first Olympic medal, COSR president had this to say:
“Casa României is a celebration of excellence, a celebration of joy, and the place that we, Team Romania, consider home. Here, we will honor our champions. Through sports, we unite people beyond any barriers of language, culture, politics, or religion, offering examples worthy of emulation.”
