It's Thursday July 25, which means there's officially one day to go until the Opening Ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. House Party readers: it's almost here! Here's a roundup of fresh news surrounding Hospitality Houses.
Austria: Austria House
In April, Austria House officially announced they'd be opening their doors at Pavillon Montsouris, in the South of Paris in the 14th arrondissement. At the time, it was believed that the Hospitality House would be ticketed.
This week, organizers officially launched the Austria House website and today, opened their doors to Olympic fans for the first time. Opening hours, nor ticketing details, are posted on their website, however, their daily events calendar is now posted.
If you're looking for somewhere to watch the Opening Ceremonies, it appears that Austria House will be streaming the event live.
Canada: Canada Olympic House
Canada Olympic House will be opening its doors at La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Parc de la Villette for Paris 2024. This week, the Canadian Olympic Committee announced its lineup of musical guests:
July 29: David Myles
July 30: Loud
July 31: Jully Black
August 5 & 6: Arkells
August 8: Émilie Landry
In addition, Canada Olympic House has shared that every day at 2pm, there will be an "athlete celebration" that features Canadian Olympians. For additional details, see the Canada Olympic House programming website.
Czechia: Czech House
Czech House, located in Parc de la Villette, will be hosting an Opening Ceremonies watch party. From their latest press release:
"The opening ceremony of the Czech House in La Villette Park will take place in a sports and cultural spirit with the participation of the Pyroterra art group, the AirGym Art Company acrobats as well as representatives from Sokol Paris. The programme of the opening ceremony, directed by Michal Caban, will be presented by the speakers Emma Smetana and Zdeněk Novotný. The doors of the Czech House in Paris will be officially opened at 4pm by Olympic champion Eva Adamczyková."
Liechtenstein: House of Liechtenstein
The House Party Blog has just learned that Liechtenstein will be opening a house-in-house concept in Deutsches Haus at Stade Jean Bouin at Paris 2024. Fans who wish to visit House of Liechtenstein will be required to purchase a ticket to Deutsches Haus.

New Zealand: New Zealand House
After taking down its original press release, New Zealand House has re-posted its official website with additional details about its experience. This centrally-located Hospitality House will also be hosting an Opening Ceremonies watch party, as noted:
"Our Opening Ceremony Watch Party commences from 5pm, and includes a free glass of Villa Maria wine on arrival (18yrs +) and a BBQ will be available for purchase (€45 per ticket) between 5 - 9pm. Additionally a small cafe menu will be offered alongside a full beverage menu. Entertainment commences at 7pm with a performance by Whāngārā Mai Tawhiti, a Te Matatini winning kapa haka group, with coverage of the Opening Ceremony from 7:30pm via our New Zealand Sky Television feed. Please note that this is a casual evening and we cannot reserve tables or seating areas for guests. We strongly recommend that if you are attending, you arrive early to avoid disappointment."
Poland: Maison Polonaise
Located in the "South West" cluster, Maison Polonaise will be hosting a special "Ping Paradise" party on July 28 and August 4 from 3-11pm. From the website:
"Day-into-night event, unique concept blending live music & DJs with the thrills and fun of ping pong. Uniting a multi cultural crowd under the disco balls and around the ping pong tables. Complimentary snacks and drinks in a beautiful open air setting in Bois de Boulogne."
Tickets can be purchased on the Maison Polonaise website for PLN175 which is roughly €40.
Serbia: Serbian House
Organizers of Serbian House have announced the latest updates on their events and programming, happening at Théâtre Paris Villette, in the "North East" Cluster in Parc de la Villette.
Entrance to Serbian House is free, so Olympic fans can stop by anytime to experience all that Serbia has to offer!
UAE: UAE Olympic House
The United Arab Emirates will be opening a Hospitality House at Pavillon Cambon Capucines from July 27 to August 11. This new Hospitality House will be open to the public from 10am to 8pm daily with free admission.
The House Party Blog has learned the following from organizers:
"Fans will find a café called Erth, a Michelin star restaurant in Abu Dhabi, which will be serving small bites and drinks. There will also be a gift shop also called Fount, a concept store from Abu Dhabi and will have Emirati contemporary design products."
There will be no official website, but visitors can find additional details on the UAE Olympic House Instagram account.
Ukraine: Volia Space
Ukrainian organizers have launched the official website of Volia Space, which features details about Ukraine's Hospitality House in Parc de la Villette at Paris 2024. As noted on the website:
"During the XXXIII Olympic Games, Volia Space will work under the slogan of the national team The Will to Win and will serve as a national center and meeting place for Ukrainian athletes, coaches, representatives of the authorities, Ukrainian and foreign media."
Olympic fans who wish to visit Volia Space will have to register in advance for the "Public Events" such as exhibitions, film screenings and performances, by clicking the "Register for Free" button on the website.
