We're inside the two-years-to-go countdown to Los Angeles 2028! Here's a roundup of the latest news about Hospitality Houses for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games — there's lots to cover.

Baltics: House of Baltics
For the first time in Olympic Games history, the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are coming together to open the House of Baltics at Los Angeles 2028, under the slogan "Together we are stronger." From the release:
"Three nations. One vision. One house. ... Together, we're creating a shared space to celebrate our athletes, culture and showcase the power of partnership, shared values and Olympic spirit."

In the official announcement of the Baltic National Olympic Committees, the three participating countries also invited the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine to join the House of Baltics as the Guest of Honour: "reaffirming their shared commitment to cooperation and the values of the Olympic movement."
Here at House Party, we love a cooperative Hospitality House — it makes the cultural experience that more rich. This venue will be a must-visit!
Czechia: Czech House
In late July, members of the Czech Olympic Committee travelled to Los Angeles for a Czech House venue scouting tour, in partnership with the Czech Consulate General in Los Angeles.
From the communication, it appears that organizers may be focusing their search in Downtown Los Angeles, touring the El Capitan Theatre, the Los Angeles Athletic Club and Vibiana, a catherdral-turned-event-venue in DTLA.
Czech House is a perennial Hospitality House at the Olympic Games, and this is the first detailed information about its potential whereabouts for LA28. We're excited for the formal venue announcement!
Kenya: Kenya House
After a successful showing at Paris 2024, it appears that Kenya House may be making an appearance at Los Angeles 2028.
In late June, National Olympic Committees from across Africa came together in Nairobi for the Continental Olympic Solidarity Forum, to begin coordinated planning for the upcoming Olympic Games. The meeting was hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K).
After the meeting, Citizen TV Kenya reported that NOC-K President Shadrack Maluki's LA28 priorities include the establishment of a "Kenya Hospitality & Cultural House at LA 2028." It's great news, as the Parisian edition of Kenya House received rave reviews.
Pride: Pride House
One of the first Hospitality Houses to announce its presence, Pride House is now calling for sponsorships across its 17 opening days at LA28. From the release:
"Sponsorship opportunities are now forming across naming rights, live programming, brand activations, hospitality, athlete content and employee engagement."
Partnership with Pride House is incredible opportunity for brands to support the out athlete movement, and be seen by a diverse sports audience — more than 150,000 guests are expected to walk through the doors during LA28.

Pride House will offer varying experiences for its guests: entertainment on a grand Main Stage (with 5,000 person viewing capacity!), a private Team OutAF Pavilion for invited guests and athletes, a museum and varying exhibitions, and daily watch parties.
Santa Monica Nations Village: Brazil and India
In December 2025, the City of Santa Monica announced that it was bringing a Nations Village to Crescent Bay Park on Santa Monica Beach:
"... The city is finalizing a proposal for a multi-faceted Santa Monica Nations Village and international broadcast hub at Crescent Bay Park and portions of Lot 4 South, in partnership with [design firm] Hochsitz. The concept includes a temporary broadcast center serving official Olympic and Paralympic media partners, Hospitality Houses for participating nations, and premium brand activations. "

Now, we're getting some clarity on which National Olympic Committees may be setting up shop at the Santa Monica Nations Village. Interestingly, the closed-door negotiations also include locations further south along Santa Monica Beach, right up to Marine Street — the divide between Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
From the Santa Monica Council Meeting minutes, the city real estate negotiator is in talks with the Brazilian Olympic Committee to set up Brazil House at "portions of Parking Lot 4 South, portions of Parking Lot 5 South, or portions of Tongva Park" and also with a representative of India House looking at "portions of Parking Lot 4 South and portions of Beach Park 1."
So many exciting developments in Santa Monica... we'll be watching closely for official location announcements!
Switzerland: House of Switzerland
On July 14, Santa Monica City Council approved the first of several phases to upgrade the city-owned Camera Obscura building, which is the home of House of Switzerland at LA28.
The "Reimagining Camera Obscura Project" intends to renovate the existing 5,000sqft community recreation space and add new outdoor amenities that create a more seamless indoor/outdoor experience in and around the building.
Always an excellent experience, the wheels are in motion for an upgraded House of Switzerland at Los Angeles 2028!
United Arab Emirates: UAE House
It appears that UAE House will be back for LA28!
First reported by Inside the Games, the UAE Olympic Committee met in June on a series of topics including Los Angeles 2028. From the reporting:
"Attendees were also briefed on the proposal to establish the UAE House during the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and reviewed the associated logistical, financial and protocol requirements."
After opening its first-ever Hospitality House for Paris 2024, at appears the Gulf nation will be represented again at LA28. More to come.
USA: Team USA House
In the May 2026 News Roundup, we shared that the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) was in negotiation with the City of Santa Monica to license the Santa Monica Pier, although no specific use or dates were noted.
It now appears that the negotiation was for a Hospitality House location, and Team USA has found their "home" in Santa Monica for Los Angeles 2028!

In mid-July at a USOPC gathering in Los Angeles, the "Team USA Experience" was presented. The USOPC will be hosting three distinct experiences at the Santa Monica Pier and Beach: (1) an Athlete Experience, (2) a Fan Fest, and (3) a Hospitality House.
Much more information to come, but a very exciting development for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games host country!
