Team GB House: Meet Olympic Legends

In November 2023, the British Olympic Association (BOA) launched ticket sales for Team GB House at Paris 2024. Since then, they've significantly evolved their marketing and storytelling about the visitor experience, which includes meeting past and current Olympians.

Recently, the Team GB House website has been redesigned, now laying out a more curated outline of the Hospitality House experience for Team GB fans. Most excitingly, organizers have begun to publish dates in which past Olympians will be at Team GB House, available to mingle and meet visitors. From the site:

"This year is the first time that Team GB House is open to the public. Spending an evening at the House means enjoying the Olympic Games with exclusive hospitality and the ability to rub shoulders with Team GB legends of past and present."

As of the publishing of this blog, Team GB has announced Jessica Ennis-Hill as their first Olympic guest. Ennis-Hill is a British track and field athlete who became Olympic champion in heptathlon on her home turf at London 2012.

According to the Team GB House schedule, Ennis-Hill will be appearing on Tuesday July 30 and Wednesday July 31.

On the schedule page, organizers have smartly noted medal-favourite events for Team GB, as a way to build excitement for particular evenings.

Team GB Hosts

In addition to their initial Olympian announcement, Team GB House organizers have also introduced the "hosts" of Team GB House at Paris 2024: Nick Bright, Nicole Holliday and Perri Shakes-Drayton.

On its hosts, Team GB notes: "Meet the team going the extra mile to make your Olympic experience one to remember."

Ticket Pricing

Considered a "luxury" priced entry at Paris 2024, Team GB House ticket prices far exceed many other Hospitality Houses during the upcoming Summer Olympic Games.

Team GB House organizers are presenting three ticket levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze.

As you can imagine, the Gold level "unlocks" the full Hospitality House experience, at £435 per ticket. Gold-level tickets offer two key features that the Silver-level tickets (at £270) do not: reserved premium seating and a guaranteed Olympian meet-and-greet.

The Bronze-level tickets, at £150, seemingly offer most of the full Team GB House experience, with the exception of complimentary drinks and food.
