Team USA House: 5 Things We Know So Far

Big news in the Hospitality House world: the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) has announced their plans for Team USA House at Paris 2024. Sneak peek: it's very exciting!

What We Know: Location

Team USA House will be located at the breathtaking Palais Brongniart, in the 2nd arrondissement in Paris. Once housing the historical French Stock Exchange, this venue is now one of the leading convention and event centres in Paris.

The event space is a staggering 43,000 sqft, which provides insight into the size and scale of hospitality the USOPC is intending to offer guests, athletes and dignitaries.

First opened in 1825, Palais Brongniart's incredible location cannot be understated. It's a short walk to some of Paris' most famous landmarks, museums, shopping destinations... and Paris 2024 sport events of course.

What We Know: It's Public and Ticketed

For the very first time in Team USA House history, this hospitality house will be open to the public! At past Olympic Games, Team USA House has been a "closed" house, accessible only to select guests including athletes and their families, USOPC donors and other VIPs.

Access to Team USA House can be purchased through On Location, the official hospitality provider for Paris 2024. There are two ways to gain entrance: through a "single-day hospitality package" or a "multi-day travel package".

The purchase of a "single-day hospitality package" includes a ticket to a Paris 2024 sport event, as well as access to Team USA House on the day of that sport event.

The purchase of a "multi-day travel package" includes: accommodation in Paris, a bundle of sport event tickets, access to Team USA House, and perks such as ground transportation, tours and other VIP experiences.

It should be noted that it is not possible to purchase access to Team USA House outside of one of the packages explained above.

What We Know: Food, Drink and Fun

According to a USOPC press release, Team USA House will have a full slate of offerings for its guests:

Team USA House will feature fun, interactive activities for the whole family, Team USA athlete appearances, Olympic Games viewing opportunities, American and Parisian-inspired food and beverage, special Team USA celebrations, the Team USA Shop and more. The opportunity will allow Team USA athletes to feel right at home with fans joining them in the heart of the City of Light.

What We Know: Nearby Sport Events

The closest Paris 2024 sport events to Team USA House will be:

• BMX Freestyle, Skateboarding, Breaking, 3x3 Basketball at Place de la Concorde

• Fencing and Taekwondo at Grand Palais

• Archery, Athletics and Road Cycling at Invalides

All of these venues are within 15 minutes of Team USA House on public transit.

What We Know: Milan Cortina 2026 & Los Angeles 2028

On Location has also been announced as the USOPC's official hospitality provider for Milan Cortina 2026, as well as Los Angeles 2028 when the Olympics returns to the United States.

Based on this news, we can reasonably suspect that Team USA House will be a public house for the next several Olympiads.
