After an incredible showing at Paris 2024, Team Germany’s Deutsches Haus is heading to the Italian Alps for Milano-Cortina 2026. With sweeping mountain views and chalet-style architecture, the 2026 edition at the Cortina Golf Club promises to blend winter sport energy with Alpine hospitality. Here’s a first-look at what to expect when the doors open...

the concept

In 2026, the concept pitches itself as the "Home of Team D" in alpine surroundings: nestled above Cortina d'Ampezzo, the location is in close proximity to mountain sport venues while offering a more intimate experience compared to the massive edition at the last Summer Olympic Games.

According to organizers, Deutsches Haus is no longer just about hospitality—it’s a multi-platform communication and engagement hub mixing sports presence, corporate networking and an engaging fan experience.

The location, Dates & Tickets

For Milano-Cortina 2026, Deutches Haus will be located at the charming Cortina Golf Club, perched above the winter-sport resort town in the Italian Dolomites. The closest sport events to the Germany Hospitality House will be women’s alpine skiing, bobsleigh, luge, skeleton and curling.

Detusches Haus will be open daily from February 6 to February 22, from 2:00pm to 3:00am. If German or international fans wish to experience the full hospitalty experience in the interior of Deutsches Haus, the entrance fee is steep — €349 (adults) and €80 (children ages 5 to 14). Tickets are on sale now.

Alternatively, the German Hospitality House will have a free outdoor Team D "Fan Zone" accessible all visitors to Milano-Cortina 2026. The Fan Zone will be open the same dates, from 12:00pm to 10:00pm daily.

The Experience

Visitors can expect the following highlights in the Fan Zone at Deutsches Haus:

  • Live broadcasts of sport events in German, where attendees can follow the thrills of the Winter Games together, on large outdoor screens set up for communal viewing

  • Activity stations where fans can try curling, biathlon-style shooting simulators, and ice-hockey challenges — a fun way to engage beyond spectating

  • Former and active members of Team Germany will appear in person, giving fans the opportunity to chat, take photos and celebrate together

  • Browse the merchandise area for unique souvenirs to commemorate your visit, including official Olympic-gear from Team Germany

The overall Vibe

With two unique experiences on offer at the Deutsches Haus at Milano-Cortina 2026...

We expect the interior Hospitality Zone experience to be a cozy, elevated experience with unlimited food and drink, in a wooden-chalet style clubhouse. And the outdoor Fan Zone experience to be lively, filled with visitors wearing Team Germany winter gear and stopping by Deutsches Haus for a beer, to watch the game, and experience some interactive fun.
